Carpal tunnel syndrome affects millions of Americans.
Symptoms include pain, weakness, and numbness of the
hands

Carpal tunnel is diagnosed by a consultation and
examination.  An EMG tells the severity of the nerve
damage.

Treatment includes anti-inflammatory medications, splints
and therapeutic injections.  Surgery is reserved for those
patients who are not improving.
